I have downloaded build 326 on three computers. I am logged on with two paid (blue) nics and one black one.
On the two paid log ins I dont have the information section to opt in as a paltalk guide. On the log in with the
black nic I have the option to show paltalk guides.
The blue nics both have profiles an indicate an english speaking country. I wouldnt mind being a guide, but
I dont seem to have that option. I think its a very nice friendly feature!

cool new features....

(My PC Config > Winx XP PRO SP3 +IE 8) ............(tried reinstalling,downgrading to old version,and used some registry sacnning programs to fix errors.......still paltalk crashes)

contacted paltalk helproom....they said that its windows problem....

any help would be appericiated....

my nickname is old. But i coloured it for 1 week to green.but i cant see Red box.

so where is the problem?
it is bout colour? or i am From turkey So turkish people Can not Be quide?

Same problem with Paltalk Guide as Mehmet - I do not see the link on the paltalk window. When adding other IM services, the ICQ icon does not show up even tho I am logged in. In addition, when going to log into other IM services under actions, MSN does not show up on the status window even tho I am logged in. I would like to see a link to google talk and the possibility of adding more than one account to another IM service. Am not sure if this is the place to report bugs but have not found another place for that.

you have to be a member of paltalk with the blue green or purple nic for 3 months before you can become a guide at the moment guides are in english only

Found The Answer : )
-- you need to be using our forthcoming 9.8 client (again, stay tuned!)
-- you need to have either a blue, green, or purple nickname, and that nickname has to be at least three months old
-- you need to have a profile
-- you need to live in an english-speaking country (we want to expand this to other countries later if the program does well)
if You Need People Who live in English-speaking Country Then You Will Grow Yourself With Only in English-speaking People!!!.
Paltalk is international Do not Forget This .

I've been a paltalk member on this name for 8 years my name has always been blue , green , purple and even red. I live in Australia and Im wondering why I do not have the option to become a guide. Just curious??

You need to turn the option on by going to main PaltalkScene window, click on File (top left corner) select Setup preference. Under General menu look at the right handside for Main Window, there is an option to show Guides and stuff. If you still do not find it, go to Paltalk Help Lobby. Good luck and have a nice day!

new emoticons, the reason why i say that is you have had the same emoticons on the program for well over 4 years. There are also quite a few members of Paltalk that have opted to go with a black nic name but are in some ways still knowledgable about the program and can still provide some knowledge about the program to the new members or existing members that have come back to the program after taking some time off the program and would not be fully knowledgable about the improvements/modifications about the program.

If you are planning on having stars beside profile names you might want to include everyone into the equation for the stars on the profiles.

I have been a palktalk user for almost 9 years, have had my nick colored for all that time and was even offered a purple VIP when it originally came out. I I'am in good standing with paltalk but I too do not have the option to become a paltalk guide even though I'm billingual and fluent in both languages and could help some within my Portuguese community. So I don't understand the criteria. If I do not have it, who does????

I jsut looked at the YEARLY cost. My god $200 a YEAR for a purple name? No Thank you at all. My gosh people ya can get Camfrog pro version for only $50 and it is lifetime. From what I saw what purple can do? Camfrog provides much more. How many of you can open 100 cams at same time. I do easily on Camfrog. I have two LARGE lcds. And a great connection thru cable, and I have a great Dell quad core processor. I have opened at most 162 one evening. I was like what ya all call an ADMIN. The video quality is superior, music thru ya sound card is great, and no lag in the rooms unless they are user owned servers. There i will admit isa 2000 user limit for any room, but ya can set it to what ya want. So stop wasting ya money and goto camfrog and you will get more bang for your dollars.See I am abit upset with Paltalk. Lat time i was here yrs ago a free user could open at least one cam with no time limit. I know alot about server, bandwidth etc. I am wiz at that stuff. Paltalk is just unwilling to spend a little more to attract many more users. It is common sense. The more ya have as free user with that one cam? The more that will upgrade. Supply and demand. Basic economics.
